Spring 2022 Tutoring Pilot

During the spring semester, the Academic Learning Center is piloting a new model of offering tutoring to students at KU: By-Appointment, 1-to-1 Tutoring. 

Schedule a one-to-one tutoring session with a trained tutor, who will help you understand concepts or principles underlying questions or problems covered in the course for which you are seeking assistance.

Schedule a Tutoring Appointment

By-appointment, 1:1 tutoring is available to any KU student who is enrolled in any of the courses we're offering this semester.

During the pilot semester, by-appointment tutoring is offered to KU students for free.

Click on the "Schedule a Tutoring Appointment" button on this webpage. You'll be asked to log-in with your KU Online ID and password. The first time you log in, you'll need to fill out a new user profile. After that, you'll have access to the online schedule. 

To make an appointment:

  1. Use the "Limit to" drop-down menu at the top of the page to select the course you are seeking assistance in.
  2. The days and times when tutors for that course are available will appear on the schedule. 
  3. Select any white block of time - those are open appointments. 
  4. Fill out the appointment form with information for your tutor. 
  5. Click "Create Appointment" to finish booking your session.

By-Appointment Tutoring will take place in Anschutz Library on the 3rd floor, in the "3 North" space.
