Schedule a one-to-one tutoring session with a trained tutor, who will help you understand concepts or principles underlying questions or problems covered in the course for which you are seeking assistance. 



Drop-in Tutoring Course Coverage

In addition to being offered via appointments, courses with a star/asterisk* are supported during our drop-in hours in the Annex (Anschutz 4th floor) on Tuesdays from 3:00-5:00, Wednesdays from 1:00-3:00, and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00. Note: PHSX is only supported during Wednesday and Thursday drop-in hours.

Individual tutoring is available to any KU student who is enrolled in any of the courses we're offering this semester, by appointment.

Individual tutoring is offered to KU students for free.

Click on the "Schedule a Tutoring Appointment" button on this webpage. You'll be asked to log-in with your KU Online ID and password. The first time you log in, you'll need to fill out a new user profile. After that, you'll have access to the online schedule. 

To make an appointment:

  1. Use the "Limit to" drop-down menu at the top of the page to select the course you are seeking assistance in.
  2. The days and times when tutors for that course are available will appear on the schedule. 
  3. Select any white block of time - those are open appointments. 
  4. Fill out the appointment form with information for your tutor. 
  5. Click "Create Appointment" to finish booking your session.

Individual tutoring is offered in the Wingspan: the KU Center for Learning and Writing Support on the 4th floor of Anschutz Library.
